Relationship between lighting fixtures and sports and venues

 
The layout of the lighting should take into account the characteristics of the sports and the characteristics of the playing field.

The range of activities of athletes and the range of coverage in sports are also different. Stadium lighting fixtures should serve these sports to meet their needs. Therefore, the lamps are reasonably arranged on the basis of comprehensive consideration of the characteristics of the sports items and the characteristics of the sports grounds to obtain a good lighting level and avoid adverse effects on athletes and television broadcasts.

(3) About interference light. Interference light is a kind of glare. It refers to the spill light that causes people's troubles, discomfort, distraction, or decreased visual ability due to the intensity, direction, or spectrum of light in a specific situation.
China's standards and CE standards put forward corresponding requirements for limiting interference light pollution, that is, divided into four areas from E1 to E4, see Table 1.

Civil buildings around the stadium should not be subject to more interference. The vertical illumination produced on the outer surfaces of buildings such as houses, apartments, hotels and hospital wards should not exceed the values specified in Table 2.

The luminous intensity of stadium lighting towards the living room (including residential, apartment, hotel and hospital ward buildings, etc.) should be less than or equal to the value specified in Table 3.

Table 2 and Table 3 are also applicable to outdoor tennis, hockey, rugby, baseball, softball, beach volleyball, etc., especially pay attention to the lighting stadium in the community. Because the stadium is close to the house, the interference light may be small.
