Outfield: fan-shaped
Distance from home plate through second base to the outfield fence: ≥121.92 m
Safety area: 18.29 m beyond the fence
Softball also has an infield and outfield, but the dimensions are smaller:

Outfield radius: 61–70 m
Fence height: 7.62 m

Beam angle is the width of the light distribution.
Larger beam angle → wider coverage, lower center intensity
Smaller beam angle → narrower coverage, stronger intensity
Choosing the wrong beam angle may cause:
