1.Performance evaluation of LED lamps

2. The whole light design of LED

LED lamps are significantly different from traditional light source lamps in terms of optical system design, electrical accessories, heat dissipation measures and structure design.

a)The optical system
The optical system in lamps and lanterns is the soul of lamps and lanterns. According to the characteristics of selected light source, the optical system of lamps and lanterns is designed to meet the specific lighting requirements. The optical system of traditional light source lamps and lanterns usually consists of light source, lamp holder, reflector and light transmittance hood. Luminosity systems differ greatly from traditional light sources due to the luminosity properties of some LED units that are 2 PI. The specific performance characteristics are as follows:
(1)LED lighting optical system is generally composed of LED chip and lens LED array or LED module, the array is sometimes arranged on the flat aluminum substrate, may also be on the raised or concave forming substrate, the lamps use, or do not use light mask. Lighting manufacturers can combine multiple LED units or dozens of LED units on the substrate according to lighting requirements. They should pay attention to the consistency of light color of LED units after combination and check the uniformity of color space of LED light.
(2)Because the photoelectric characteristic of LED is very sensitive to the change of PN junction temperature; Packaging resin will rapidly deteriorate under high temperature and strong light irradiation; Long-term light radiation will gradually reduce the photoinduced conversion rate of phosphors and cause the color coordinates to shift.
b) Heat dissipation

Like traditional light source , LED light also generate heat. The heat of LED light comes from losses in LED photoelectric conversion and LED driving power supply.Different from the principle of traditional electric light source luminescence (thermal radiation of incandescent lamps and gas discharge of fluorescent lamps, etc.), LED luminescence is electroluminescence. Due to the problem of conversion efficiency, most of the energy output is mainly converted into heat energy in the form of non-radiation composite lattice vibration.But the heat transfer way in the LED is not radiation but conduction.In the heat dissipation design of LED lamps, the main objective is to effectively conduct the heat of LED chip out and effectively control the temperature of LED junction in LED light.
