Stadion Gelora Bandung Lautan Api (GBLA), meaning “Bandung Sea of Fire Stadium,” is a modern multi-purpose stadium in Bandung, the capital of West Java, Indonesia. Opened in March 2013, it was built on the site of the historic Stadion Siliwangi, which was destroyed by a fire in 2008—an event referenced in its dramatic name.
The stadium is a key part of the Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Sports Complex and serves as the new, state-of-the-art home for one of Indonesia’s most iconic football clubs.

Athletics Track: The stadium features a Class I, 400-meter, 8-lane synthetic track certified by World Athletics, making it one of the premier venues for track and field in Indonesia.
Football Pitch: A natural grass pitch (Tifway 419 Bermuda grass) lies at the center, meeting FIFA standards.
Modern Architecture: Its design includes a distinctive, undulating roof that covers all spectator areas, inspired by the rolling hills of Bandung. The exterior is clad with a metallic mesh that can be lit in various colors.
Atmosphere: Despite having a running track, the stands are designed to be as steep and close to the pitch as possible to maintain a strong atmosphere.
GBLA is the proud and primary home of Persib Bandung, a club that is nothing short of a national institution.
Historic Debut: The stadium hosted its first-ever Liga 1 match for Persib on April 10, 2016, drawing 19,000 fans for a match against Perseru Serui.
