The Grand Stade de Marrakech is one of Morocco’s most modern multi-purpose stadiums. The stadium gained global visibility when it hosted the 2013 FIFA Club World Cup final, where Bayern München defeated Raja Casablanca in front of 37,000 spectators. A year later, the venue hosted its second consecutive FIFA Club World Cup final in 2014, featuring Real Madrid and San Lorenzo.

KACM (Kawkab Athlétique Club de Marrakech) is the primary tenant of the Grand Stade de Marrakech. Founded in 1947, KACM is widely regarded as the most popular football club in the city of Marrakesh. The club achieved its first Moroccan league title in 1958, during the second edition of Morocco’s top-flight competition. In the first edition of the league, KACM finished as runners-up, with Wydad winning the inaugural championship.
KACM also secured its first Moroccan Cup (Coupe du Trône) victory in 1963, defeating HUSA in the tournament final. With its long history and strong fan base, KACM continues to be an important part of Moroccan football culture.
