Europa-Park Stadion is the modern home of SC Freiburg and one of the newest top-flight football stadiums in Germany. The stadium officially opened on 7 October 2021 with a friendly match between SC Freiburg and FC St. Pauli, where Freiburg secured a 3–0 victory. This opening event marked the beginning of a new era for the club after decades at their previous home, the Schwarzwald-Stadion.
