The Deutsche Bank Park, historically known as the Waldstadion and formerly the Commerzbank-Arena (2005–2020), is the premier home of Eintracht Frankfurt in Frankfurt am Main. Since its opening on 21 May 1925, the stadium has hosted some of the most iconic football events in Germany, including ten FIFA World Cup matches—five in 1974 and another five in 2006. The first World Cup match at the venue ended in a 0-0 draw before a crowd of 62,000 spectators.
In 2011, Deutsche Bank Park hosted the first-ever FIFA Women’s World Cup final in Germany, with 48,000 fans witnessing Japan’s victory over the United States.
