History and Significance:
Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, one of the largest and most technologically advanced stadiums in the United Kingdom, began construction in 2015 and opened in 2019. The venue hosts football and American football events. The first-ever match was a Premier League fixture between Tottenham Hotspur (THFC) and Crystal Palace, with Tottenham winning 2-0. Son Heung-min scored the first goal, and Christian Eriksen added the second. The stadium also hosted its inaugural American football game, attracting 60,000 spectators, with Joshua Jacobs scoring the first touchdown.
