Teerasil Dangda: Played numerous matches for Muangthong United and the Thailand national team; first Thai player in the Spanish top-flight league (2014) and scored in his first Japanese top-division match for Sanfrecce Hiroshima (2018).
Zeshan Rehman: Played for Muangthong United and became the first Pakistani international to play in the English Premier League (Fulham FC).
