The stadium serves as the primary home for the Ehime Mandarin Pirates, a professional team in the independent Shikoku Island League Plus. As the largest baseball-specific stadium on Shikoku Island with a capacity of 30,000, it is the premier venue for baseball in the region. It hosts the Pirates’ regular season games, important league events, and has also been used for national university baseball tournaments and exhibition games involving NPB teams.
