The LNER Stadium, traditionally and still widely known as Sincil Bank, is one of the oldest continuously used football stadiums in England. Located in the city of Lincoln, the venue has been the home ground of Lincoln City Football Club since its opening in 1895, making it a central landmark in the club’s long history.
Lincoln City Football Club was founded in 1884 and joined the Football League for the first time in 1892. Just three years later, the club moved into what is now the LNER Stadium, establishing a permanent home that has hosted top-flight, lower-league, and non-league football across more than a century.
