  • Jeju United’s Move (2013): Ahead of the 2014 season, Jeju United relocated to the Jeju World Cup Stadium in Seogwipo, drawn by its superior facilities, larger capacity (~29,000), and lack of a running track, which created a better football atmosphere.

  • Current Use of Old Stadium: Following the club’s departure, the original Jeju Stadium in Jeju City has seen significantly reduced use. It remains a public asset but is now primarily used for local amateur sports, school events, and occasional community festivals rather than top-level professional matches.
