The Estadio Único Diego Armando Maradona, formerly known as Estadio Ciudad de La Plata, is one of the largest and most modern sports venues in South America. Located in La Plata, the stadium is renowned for hosting football, rugby union, concerts, and other major events. It was renamed in honor of the legendary Diego Maradona, widely regarded as one of the greatest football players in history, shortly after his passing in 2020.
