Estadio Pedro Bidegain, commonly known as Nuevo Gasómetro, is one of the premier football stadiums in Buenos Aires. It serves as the home ground for Club Atlético San Lorenzo de Almagro, a club with a rich history in Argentine and South American football.
Founded in 1908, San Lorenzo is among the most successful and popular football clubs in Argentina. The club became Copa Libertadores champions in 2014, winning the prestigious South American championship for the first time in its history. During that tournament, they drew an average home attendance of 35,000 fans across seven games, highlighting the strong support of their fanbase.
San Lorenzo also marked its debut in the FIFA Club World Cup, finishing in third place, showcasing its competitive presence on the global stage.
