Estadio La Ceiba, located in Ciudad Guayana, opened on 1 November 1998 and immediately became a landmark sports venue in Venezuela. At the time of its inauguration, the stadium was the largest baseball venue in the country by seating capacity, highlighting the region’s ambition to develop a major center for professional and regional baseball.
Designed with a wide bowl-style layout and spacious circulation areas, the stadium provides excellent viewing angles and an environment suitable for large-scale sports and cultural events.
Although the stadium has not served as the long-term home for a major Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP) club, it has hosted numerous important baseball activities, including:
