Estádio Brinco de Ouro da Princesa is one of the most iconic football stadiums in the state of São Paulo and the long-standing home of Guarani Futebol Clube. Since its opening in 1953, the venue has played a central role in Campinas’ sporting culture and has hosted some of the most memorable matches in Brazilian football history.
The stadium was inaugurated on 31 May 1953 with a major football match between Guarani and Palmeiras, attracting a large audience and marking the start of its long and rich sporting history.
The stadium’s all-time attendance record was set in 1982, when 52,000 spectators filled Brinco de Ouro to watch Guarani face Flamengo.
This match became one of the most iconic moments in the venue’s history, reflecting both Guarani’s strong local fanbase and Flamengo’s nationwide popularity.
Flamengo, one of the clubs featured in the stadium’s most memorable matches, has achieved several national and international milestones:
Became the second South American sports club to surpass 10 million followers on its main social media platform
One of the first clubs in South America to reach a US$100 million valuation
Won the 1981 Toyota Cup (Intercontinental Cup) by defeating Liverpool FC in Japan before 62,000 spectators—a tournament recognized as the former world championship for football clubs
These achievements highlight the high-profile nature of teams that have competed at Brinco de Ouro, reinforcing the stadium’s significance in South American football.
Estádio Brinco de Ouro da Princesa has undergone multiple renovation phases aimed at improving safety, comfort, and matchday quality for spectators and players.
To meet evolving football standards, several improvements have been implemented, including:
Reinforcement of concrete stands and structural supports
Upgrades to seating, access routes, and spectator circulation
Enhancement of locker rooms, press facilities, and VIP areas
These updates have made the stadium more suitable for major competitions and safe high-attendance events.
The natural grass pitch has received several maintenance and upgrade cycles to improve performance and durability, particularly during seasons with heavy rainfall.
Night matches and broadcast requirements prompted several improvements to the stadium’s lighting system over the years.
If needed, MECREE can provide:
LED stadium lighting retrofits
Lux-level design compliant with CBF/FIFA standards
High-uniformity, energy-efficient lighting layouts
Photometric simulations and lighting calculations
These upgrades ensure the stadium remains suitable for modern professional football and high-definition broadcasting.

With the craze of sport games in the night, and more professional events are played at night, people desire for lighting to play at the very beginning so now people more concern about the quality of lighting, we believe that the glare produced by ordinary lamps can no longer meet the athletes’ pursuit of sensory experience. But now, thanks to developments in MECREE’s sports lighting technology, our precise control and anti-glare lighting makes it possible for sports men and women to perform at their best and enjoy the best sports experience.
There is increasing concern for the problems created by unwanted light at night, such as light pollution and light trespass, result in various types of complaints. Particularly with increasing awareness of environmental problems of all types, it is important that lighting designers recognize the need to control problems related to the general subjects of “Light Pollution” and “Light Trespass.” So we have tried every effort to develope a newest optical technology to solve the problem.

Currently common traditional stadium lights model for some international stadiums as below:
MVF406/1800W, HNF003, MVF401, MVF403, MVF024, EF-2000, YOA56305, YOAX56400, 2kW: HQI-TS 2000WDS, 2kW: HQI-TS 1000WDS, MHN-SA 2KW 400V/956, MHN-SB/HO 2KW 400V/956, LPW2000M/D, LPW1000MB/L, LPP2000MHN-SA, LPP2000MHN-SB.
There is big problem that traditional lamps can not cannot meet the needs of 4K and 8K high-definition broadcast and huge energy consumption.
With the strengthening of environmental lighting awareness and the pursuit of high-quality lighting, there is a trend to replace traditional lamps by high quality of LED Stadium Lights.
MECREE has launched the following series of LED Sport Stadium Lighting:
MECREE’s specially engineered precision lighting control is designed to meet the needs of such users. The polarized light range of 65-73° is defined as the P73-L and A65 series products, which deliver an unparalleled visual experience while offering access to thousands of IES profiles.

Our precisely engineered optics of polarized light aim light directly onto the field of play, to shine uniformly and to minimize glare. Outdoor venues benefit from spill light control, no more skyglow and no more complaints from the neighbors.
1. Such light shield is useless, just misleading customers.
2. As tested it will cause 30% reduction of light output
3. While 70% still have high overflow
4. Unbearable strong glare
5. Waste energy,outdated reflective technology

The power supply and lamp body can be mounted separately, reducing the withstand weight of the lamp pole and facilitating maintenance.

Customized crossarms are available to meet all your existing old poles without replacing the main rod, crossarms bolt directly to light pole, easy and accurate installation saves time, ensures performance, safety and reliability, also lower the budget.

In current sports lighting projects, high-altitude light calibration is recognized as a major efficiency bottleneck. The process carries high safety risks, is prone to aiming deviations, and involves cumbersome installation and removal procedures, making it difficult to achieve the required uniformity.
MECREE’s innovative laser aiming mount was designed precisely to address these issues. It revolutionizes the workflow through three key advantages:
Easy Installation: With a simple design, it allows rapid mounting and dismounting, significantly lowering the operational threshold.
Precise Aiming: Ensures accurate laser alignment, fundamentally guaranteeing uniform illumination and compliance with lighting standards.
Efficient Operation: Reduces labor and time costs by up to 80%. Calibrating 200 fixtures at height previously took 20 days; now the same workload can be completed in just 4 days.
Choosing MECREE means choosing a safer, more precise, and highly efficient sports lighting solution.
