Daknamstadion, located in Lokeren, Belgium, is a historic football venue with a rich sporting tradition. Since opening in 1956, the stadium has served as the home ground of Sporting Lokeren, officially Koninklijke Sporting Club Lokeren Oost-Vlaanderen, founded in 1923 under a different name.
The stadium has hosted countless domestic league matches, Belgian Cup fixtures, and local derbies. A landmark moment in its history occurred in 2012 when Sporting Lokeren won the Belgian Cup for the first time, marking the stadium as the site of one of the club’s most celebrated achievements. Daknamstadion has undergone several renovations to maintain its status as a professional football venue:

These improvements have ensured the stadium continues to meet Belgian FA standards for professional football matches.
While primarily used for football, Daknamstadion has also hosted community sports programs, youth tournaments, and occasional cultural events. Its role as a versatile venue highlights its importance within the Lokeren region.
