Estádio Olímpico Monumental was one of the most historic football stadiums in Brazil and served as the home ground of Grêmio Foot-Ball Porto Alegrense for nearly six decades. Located in the Azenha district of Porto Alegre, the stadium was officially inaugurated in 1954 and quickly became one of the most important football venues in southern Brazil.
