Natatorium lights are indoor pool lights mounted from above that provides lighting to the pool area. LED Natatorium lights are LED versions of the same named Metal Halide fixtures.

The natatorium lighting design usually considers the repair and maintenance of the lamps. Generally, they are not arranged above the surface of the lamps, but are provided with special maintenance channels above the water surface. For stadiums that do not have TV broadcasting requirements, lamps are often scattered on the water, the roof or the ceiling above the wall for decoration.

Natatorium lighting LUX level

What is the key points for natatorium lighting?

Natatorium lights are designed for indoor swimming pool. They have a special coating that allows them to operate in a swimming pool environment. These commercial indoor pool lights are designed to last a long time and require no maintenance.

The most common color temperature options for natatoriums are 4000K or 5000K. 5000K is a good alternative to metal halide fixtures. We offer both color options for our natatorium-grade commercial swimming pool lights.

For the standards for the football stadiums, the overall color temperature need to be greater than 4,000 k for all classes. But, it’s suggested that cool white lights (from 5,000 K to 6,000 K) would be the most acceptable option since they’re more invigorating and provide much better lighting effect for players in addition to audiences.
