Bolivia’s Estadio Municipal de El Alto Shines Bright with MECREE’s LED Lighting Solutions. This project marks a significant milestone in enhancing the stadium’s facilities, providing exceptional event illumination, and ensuring a superior experience for spectators and athletes.

Project Overview

The Estadio Municipal de El Alto, the highest stadium in Bolivia, has undergone a significant renovation to include the installation of giant screens, an advanced audio system, and state-of-the-art LED lighting. With a seating capacity of 25,000, this stadium is a central hub for national sports events. MECREE was entrusted with the LED lighting solution of the project, contributing to the stadium’s modernization and its ability to host high-profile events.

Project Background

Completed in 2017, Estadio Municipal de El Alto required a renovation to maintain its status as a premier venue for sports and entertainment. The LED lighting upgrade was a critical component of this renovation, ensuring optimal visibility for players and fans during events. MECREE provided comprehensive services, including lighting design, supply of high-quality lamps, installation & wiring guidance.

Project Highlights

MECREE’s LED lighting installation was pivotal for the national football match held in February 2024. The project was completed on time and was a resounding success, showcasing the capabilities of MECREE’s SPL-1200W lamps with Dali dimming. The lighting solution provided an average illumination of 2000 lux, ensuring excellent visibility and enhancing the overall experience for all attendees.
