Ken Rosewall Arena is one of Australia’s most iconic mid-size sports venues, located within the Sydney Olympic Park precinct. Officially opened in December 1999, the arena was built as part of the Olympic tennis centre development that supported the 2000 Summer Olympic Games. The venue is named in honour of Ken Rosewall, one of Australia’s greatest tennis players, celebrated for his longevity, precision, and eight Grand Slam singles titles.
In 2000, Ken Rosewall Arena served as one of the key tennis venues during the Games of the XXVII Olympiad. It hosted numerous Olympic tennis matches, contributing to one of the defining sports legacies of Sydney’s Olympic Park.
